SUMMARY:Desire vs fantasy - a world beyond
DESCRIPTION:As part of our kinky Thursday classes\, we will try to explore the world of fantasies\, desires\, and dreams. We often use these words in our conversations about kink\, intimacy\, and sexuality but we rarely think about them in an in-depth way. At the heart of this exploration is the question\, which fantasies and desires should or could be realized and which ones shouldn’t or can’t and why. \n\n\n\nIf we don’t talk about what is possible and what isn’t\, we run into the problem;em of merely repeating the same old stuff that everyone is doing without a chance of experiencing something else.  \n\n\n\nParticipants are invited to use the safe(r) environment of Studio Allegory and talk openly about these things and maybe even try out some of the things that come up. Of course\, there is no guarantee that this class will provide the background before which you can fulfill your fantasy and it isn’t meant to. But this class is designed to create an open climate to express them\, maybe even for the first time. Whenever the question “Am I the only one?” comes up in kink\, the answer is automatically “No!” \n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT PROVIDE SPACE FOR TYPES OF PLAY THAT ARE EXCLUDED IN THE RULES OF STUDIO ALLEGORY OR THAT ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW! There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap\, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. Between 48h and the start of the workshop\, we can provide a partial refund (50% minus payment processing fees.) or transfer of the ticket to a similar event in the future. \n\n\n\nNo refund or transfer can be offered for no-shows or cancellation after the event has started.

SUMMARY:All Levels Rope
DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. People approach rope from a myriad different directions\, motivations\, and interests\, so our classes should reflect that diversity of approach.  \n\n\n\nThe order of classes may change depending on the pace and needs of participants. See the curriculum of our rope track \n\n\n\n\nHarness Intro\n\n\n\nDeeper Dive/Different Versions/Magic Tips and Tricks\n\n\n\nTying with Movement/Ranboo\n\n\n\nPartial/Static Suspension (Upline Review)**\n\n\n\nInterview Metaphor\n\n\n\nSuspension with Transition Options (Upline Special Considerations)**\n\n\n\nFloorwork\n\n\n\nChallenges! \n\n\n\n\nAll Level classes are designed for partner work\, though you are welcome to attend solo and absorb information.  \n\n\n\nA brief note on suspension: \n\n\n\nYou don’t have to suspend in these classes! It’s pretty common that newer people choose not to suspend on their first ‘rotation’ through the All Levels class. Work at the pace that suits you\, make sure you feel comfortable with what you are doing\, and we will support you.Please note: Anyone who plans to suspend should attend the appropriate Uplines Friday class.
