DESCRIPTION:Intro to Rope Bondage is the first step for people interested in learning to tie with each other. \nThe emphasis of this course is to accompany the participants on their path into a joyful and safe practice of rope bondage\, Shibari/Kinbaku. We go through basic techniques\, knots & frictions\, safety and consent\, movement\, communication\, and artistic representation. Participants will be able to tie with each other in a joyful and interesting way. We understand each class as directed at both\, the person in ropes as well as the person tying. \nCurriculum \n\n\n1st Friday per month: Single & Double column ties. The basic knots\n2nd Friday per month: Safety\, consent\, and pre-scene negotiation\n3rd Friday per month: Frictions and Hitches. How to keep the ropes in place\n4th Friday per month: Fundamental upper body tie – “Takate Kote”\n5th Friday per month: Wild card\n\nParticipants of the intro to rope series have free access to the open jam directly after the class.

DESCRIPTION:Shibari Live Drawing differs from usual live drawing sessions in two major ways. For one\, the poses that can be reached with the help of ropes are very different from anything live drawing models could assume on their own\, e.g. suspensions.  \nOn the other hand\, those poses are short living\, which means that artists are not only met with unusual poses but also with less time to catch them.  \nIn two Shibari performances by different Shibari practitioners from the community\, the participants will meet different body types every time.  \nAll levels welcome\, all media welcome (photography is dependent on the performer’s individual wishes and only as long as it does not disturb the other participants).  \n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:New to kink and don’t know where to start? Interested in going to events but you don’t know how to behave\, what to wear\, what to do? You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? DESCRIPTION:Shibari Live Drawing differs from usual live drawing sessions in two major ways. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. It’s pretty common that newer people choose not to suspend on their first ‘rotation’ through the All Levels class. Work at the pace that suits you\, make sure you feel comfortable with what you are doing\, and we will support you.Please note: Anyone who plans to suspend should attend the appropriate Uplines Friday class. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap\, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. Between 48h and the start of the workshop\, we can provide a partial refund (50% minus payment processing fees.) or transfer of the ticket to a similar event in the future. \n\n\n\nNo refund or transfer can be offered for no-shows or cancellation after the event has started.

DESCRIPTION:A guided skillshare on the use of light when shooting rope scenes.\n\n\n\nWe are inviting those who would like to delve into the world of rope and kink photography  for a special class about creative lighting for photography. In this guided skillshare with lots of useful tips and tricks. With access to a professional light setup\, we are looking specifically at how the picture is shaped by a conscious choice of light\, frame\, and composition of the scene. No prerequisites necessary. Bring any digital camera\, no matter if it’s a phone or a flagship dslr.
