You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.

DESCRIPTION:Still figuring out your boundaries?  Uncertain as to how to navigate touch in new relationships and first encounters? Curious about leveling up your practice of consent? \n\n\n\nTogether\, we will be moving through a framework intended to help participants discover their boundaries and desires\, as well as tune in to their particular sense of pleasure. The other focus of this exercise is connectedness: being curiously and nonjudgmentally engaged with the unique shape of another person’s personality\, form\, and idiosyncracies.  \n\n\n\nWhat does all of this mean?  \n\n\n\nAttendees will be introduced to a structured practice designed to foster a deeper relationship with both the self and others. \n\n\n\nAll attendees will receive a printed copy of the activity to take home.  \n\n\n\nCheck out this free audio recording of Shiphrah outlining some of the underlying philosophy being applied throughout this event (15 mins)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet our guest presenter\n\n\n\nShiphrah is a queer trans settler\, multicultural grandchild of holocaust survivors\, and ambulatory wheelchair user who has been enthusiastically practicing kink for 15 years. She lives with multiple intersecting complex chronic disabilities defined by unpredictability\, frequently oscillating between being visibly and invisibly disabled. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. People approach rope from a myriad different directions\, motivations\, and interests\, so our classes should reflect that diversity of approach.  \n\n\n\nThe order of classes may change depending on the pace and needs of participants. See the curriculum of our rope track \n\n\n\n\nHarness Intro\n\n\n\nDeeper Dive/Different Versions/Magic Tips and Tricks\n\n\n\nTying with Movement/Ranboo\n\n\n\nPartial/Static Suspension (Upline Review)**\n\n\n\nInterview Metaphor\n\n\n\nSuspension with Transition Options (Upline Special Considerations)**\n\n\n\nFloorwork\n\n\n\nChallenges! \n\n\n\n\nAll Level classes are designed for partner work\, though you are welcome to attend solo and absorb information.  \n\n\n\nA brief note on suspension: \n\n\n\nYou don’t have to suspend in these classes! In this guided skillshare with lots of useful tips and tricks. With access to a professional light setup\, we are looking specifically at how the picture is shaped by a conscious choice of light\, frame\, and composition of the scene. No prerequisites necessary. Bring any digital camera\, no matter if it’s a phone or a flagship dslr. SUMMARY:All Levels Rope
DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. DESCRIPTION:Kink\, and within it rope bondage\, is often seen through one particular lens\, that of eroticism\, but what if we are looking for similarities in completely different fields?Higher mathematics doesn’t seem to have anything in common with rope bondage but only a quick look offers a vast variety of tools that can be embedded in the context of rope bondage. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. It’s pretty common that newer people choose not to suspend on their first ‘rotation’ through the All Levels class. Work at the pace that suits you\, make sure you feel comfortable with what you are doing\, and we will support you.Please note: Anyone who plans to suspend should attend the appropriate Uplines Friday class.
