DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. People approach rope from a myriad different directions\, motivations\, and interests\, so our classes should reflect that diversity of approach.  \n\n\n\nThe order of classes may change depending on the pace and needs of participants. See the curriculum of our rope track \n\n\n\n\nHarness Intro\n\n\n\nDeeper Dive/Different Versions/Magic Tips and Tricks\n\n\n\nTying with Movement/Ranboo\n\n\n\nPartial/Static Suspension (Upline Review)**\n\n\n\nInterview Metaphor\n\n\n\nSuspension with Transition Options (Upline Special Considerations)**\n\n\n\nFloorwork\n\n\n\nChallenges! \n\n\n\n\nAll Level classes are designed for partner work\, though you are welcome to attend solo and absorb information.  \n\n\n\nA brief note on suspension: \n\n\n\nYou don’t have to suspend in these classes! DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. All constellations are welcome.  \n\n\n\nIn a safe environment\, participants can challenge themselves and each other to fight with each other in a playful and joyful way. Not winning but experiencing is the focus of this monthly event. DESCRIPTION:A guided workshop \n\n\n\n\n\nAre you a service-oriented individual looking to expand your skills\, or a D-type interested in learning aftercare for your S-type?  \n\n\n\nThis workshop begins with a brief discussion on how massage can be connective and co-regulating\, as well as an overview of basic body mechanics. Following the discussion\, Crimson will guide participants through a head\, neck\, and shoulder massage sequence while the receiver is seated in a chair.  \n\n\n\nParticipants receiving a massage should wear clothing that allows the shoulders to be bare. Those giving a massage should bring a hand towel for clean-up. DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. DESCRIPTION:Kink\, and within it rope bondage\, is often seen through one particular lens\, that of eroticism\, but what if we are looking for similarities in completely different fields?Higher mathematics doesn’t seem to have anything in common with rope bondage but only a quick look offers a vast variety of tools that can be embedded in the context of rope bondage. After all\, tying rope onto someone is nothing but applied differential geometry. \n\n\n\nWe will look at triangles and their behaviour when we leave a flat plane. We are using the Pythagorean theorem for measuring distances on Euclidean surfaces and see how Gauss\, Riemann\, and Einstein made it possible to do that on curved surfaces.A bit of general relativity with its geodesics and relativistic mechanics can help us understand some of the intricacies of rope bondage. \n\n\n\nThis workshop is first and foremost for people who wonder\, who are curious and not only for those with a strong interest in mathematics\, physics\, and engineering. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap\, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. Between 48h and the start of the workshop\, we can provide a partial refund (50% minus payment processing fees.) or transfer of the ticket to a similar event in the future. \n\n\n\nNo refund or transfer can be offered for no-shows or cancellation after the event has started.
