About This Event
Women Tying Women is a new rope jam at Studio Allegory that welcomes all self-identifying women — cis, trans, and non-binary folks comfortable in a space centering women.
Held on the first Monday of each month, these evenings are about connection, creativity, inspiration, and having fun with ropes in a safe(r) space.
All levels, bodies and curiosities are welcome. This rope jam isn’t a formal class, but a supportive space to grow, explore, and connect. If you’re looking to deepen your knowledge and broaden your skills, check out our rope classes!

Hi, I’m Emmy (She/her). I’m co-founder of Studio Allegory and invested in making this the most fantastic and wonderful space possible. I’ll be there with open ears and care for people. My special interests are those types of kink and intimacy and sexuality that go beyond the cliches and traditions.

Hi, I’m Amnesia Jane! I’m a tall, fat, muppety human who’s been doing terrible things with uplines since 2017. I tie, am tied, and self tie, with a particular specialization in dubious suspensions for the sake of science. The word “can’t” makes my brain itchy, which has led me to adopt a creative, pragmatic, and slightly irreverent approach to my tying. It would be my honour to help you bring your best bad rope ideas to life.

Accessibility
Studio Allegory is on the ground floor and there are no steps anywhere in the space. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys, colouring books, blankets, noise cancelling earmuffs, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.
Cancellation & Refund
If Studio Allegory has to cancel an event: We will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.
Cancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. Between 48h and the start of the workshop, we can provide a partial refund (50% minus payment processing fees) or transfer of the ticket to a similar event in the future.
No refund or transfer can be offered for no-shows or cancellation after the event has started.
