I am a Vancouver gay Asian rigger who started Shibari in 2019. To me, rope is an art form for the interaction and communication between the rigger and person in rope, whether it be playful labbing, floor work or suspension. My goal is to promote a rope community that is more inclusive of the wider community, considering gender, body type, race, and ethnicity, and to continue working toward an active men tying men community in Vancouver. I have organized rope jams and taught men tying men beginner classes since Nov 2023. I conducted a rope workshop in July 2024 at Toronto Kinbaku Salon, and conducted a workshop in July 2024 at Toronto Kinbaku Salon, and conducted a workshop as a presenter at the MenRopingMen conference in San Francisco in Oct 2024. I performed on the bondage stage at the San Francisco Folsom Street Fair in 2023 and 2024, and became a partner in the first gay Asian duo to ever perform there.
