Georg Barkas
Co-founder & Instructor (they/them)
Georg Barkas is an intimacy educator, researcher, and rope bondage performer based in Vancouver, Canada. Their focus lies in the deconstruction of established norms and approaches to kink, intimacy, and sexuality. Their background in academics (physics, mathematics, history, and philosophy) is used to approach historically psychological aspects from different perspectives. Author of “Archaeology of personalities – a linguistic approach to erotic rope bondage”, as well as several articles in international magazines.

Emmy Knother
Co-founder & Instructor (she/her)
Emmy is originally from England, with an academic background in Law, specifically comparative contract law. She has been tying for over 3 years, and enjoys teaching rope and other forms of kink and intimacy, with a focus on consent, communication and other meta-aspects. Her writings are published on Karada-house.de for which she also moderates virtual classes.

Addie Tahl
Co-founder & Instructor (she/they)
Addie is a Vancouver-based rope educator and health care professional who teaches and performs world-wide. Addie is a switch and self-suspension enthusiast. She organizes regular workshops on dynamic self-suspension and versatile education both, for beginners and technically advanced. When co-teaching, she focuses on bottoming information and discourse.
